These Terms and Conditions of Use apply to the U-tec web site located at www.u-tec.com, hereby referred to as “the site” and all associated sites linked to www.u-tec.com. The site is the property of U-tec Group Inc., hereby referred to as U-tec. For easier readability, this Terms of Use will use the following terms: “U-tec”, “us” or “we” and other grammatical variations mean U-tec Group Inc. “U-tec Products” refers to goods and services, including apps, produced by U-tec. By using the site, you agree to the following Terms of Use. If you do not agree to the listed terms, do not use the site.


U-tec reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, add or remove portions of the Terms of Use, at any time. It is your responsibility to check these Terms of Use periodically for changes. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes will mean that you accept and agree to the changes. As long as you comply with these Terms of Use, U-tec grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited privilege to enter and use the site.


Use of the Site

Do not misuse the site and/or services provided by U-tec. Do not obtain or attempt to obtain any materials or information, or gain access to any systems or networks connected to the site or to any of the services, through any means that we do not make available through the site.


Do not use any device, software or strategy to try to modify or interfere with the site with any other person’s use of the site or services. Specifically, you must not submit, upload or transfer any unauthorized files, codes, scripts or use any device, program, algorithm, methodology or process, to access, acquire, copy or monitor any portion of the site, or in any way reproduce the navigational structure or presentation of the site.


You agree that you will not take any action that imposes an unreasonably high level of stress on the infrastructure of the site. You agree not to use any device, software, or strategy to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of the site, or with any other person’s use of the site. You may not pretend that you are, or that you represent, someone else, or impersonate any other individual or entity. You may not use the site or any of the content of the site or for a purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms of Use.


As long as you comply with these Terms of Use, U-tec grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-assignable, non-sublicenseable right to use the site as it is intended to be used and in accordance with these Terms of Use and all applicable laws and regulations. This license does not include any resale of any services or the site, or its contents, any collection and use of any product listings, descriptions, or prices, any downloading or copying of account information for the benefit of a third party; or any use of data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools.


U-tec reserves the right to terminate this license granted to the customer, and delete or deactivate the corresponding account, if the customer does not comply with these Terms of Use.

U-tec does not grant clients any other rights, implied or otherwise. All rights that are not expressly granted to customers in the Terms of Use are reserved by U-tec or other content providers.


Company Content

All text, graphics, user interfaces, visual interfaces, photographs, trademarks, logos, sounds, artwork, content, documentation and computer code, referred hereby as, “U-tec Content”, including but not limited to the design, structure, selection, coordination, expression, and arrangement of such U-tec Content, contained in and on the site or as part of any service is owned or controlled by U-tec, and is protected by, copyright, patent, and trademark laws in the United States.


You cannot use, copy, modify, publish, post, publicly display or publicly perform, encode, translate, distribute or disseminate any Belkin Content through any method or medium, without U-tec’s prior written agreement. However, you may use U-tec Content, as long as it is for your own personal non-commercial use, except as otherwise provided in these Terms of Use.


Although U-tec has attempted to provide accurate information on the site, to the extent permitted by law, U-tec assumes no responsibility for the accuracy of the information or for any typographical or graphical errors that may appear in this or in related documents. U-tec may change the services or products mentioned on the site at any time without notice. Mention of non-U-tec products or services is for information purposes only and constitutes neither an endorsement nor a recommendation.


Setting-Up an Account

To use certain Services, you may be required to set up an account and a password for that account. It is your responsibility to maintain the confidentiality of your account and password. You must also agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account and/or password. You also agree that any information you provide in setting up an account is truthful and accurate.


Where you are required to create a password that will enable you to use a service, your email address and password will be used to validate your identity in order to access the service. If you share your information with others or allow others to access the services using your email address and password, you have no expectation of privacy or confidentiality in the personal information you may intentionally or unintentionally disclose. You may not use anyone else’s U-tec password or account at any time without the express permission and consent of the holder of that information. U-tec cannot be held liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these rules.

By using the site, you acknowledge and agree that Internet transmissions are never completely private or secure. You understand that any message or information you send to the site may be intercepted by others, even if there is a special notice that a particular transmission, for example, credit card information, is encrypted.



We aim to provide highly reliable and available products and services. However, numerous services require remote access and mobile notifications, and are not intended or guaranteed to be reliable or available 100% of the time. In addition, the services may be subject to sporadic interruptions and failures for reasons beyond U-tec’s control, including but not limited to Wi-Fi intermittency, service provider uptime, mobile notifications and carriers. We cannot, and do not guarantee that you will receive notifications or have access to the Services in any given time or at all.


U-tec products and services are not certified for emergency response or intended or suitable for use in situations or environments where failure, delay, error, or inaccuracy in the data or information provided could lead to death, or personal injury. U-tec products and services do not constitute a third-party-monitored emergency system. U-tec does not monitor emergency notifications and will not dispatch emergency authorities to the location of the distressed party, in the event of emergency.


U-tec does not promise that the site or any content, service or feature of the site will be error-free, uninterrupted or that any defects will be corrected. The site and its content are delivered on as “as-is” and “as-available” basis. All information provided on the site is subject to change without notice. Furthermore, U-tec cannot guarantee that any files or other data downloaded from the site will be virus-free. U-tec disclaims all warranties, including any warranties of accuracy, non-infringement, merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose. You assume all responsibility for use of the site, and any linked site.


This disclaimer applies to any damages, liability or injuries caused by any failure of performance, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, computer virus, communication line failure, theft or destruction of or unauthorized access to, alteration of, or use, whether for breach of contract, tort, negligence or any other cause of action.


Suspension or Cancellation of Site

U-tec reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate operation of the site, or access to it, for any reason. U-tec reserves the right to modify or change the site, or any portion of the site, and any applicable policies or terms. U-tec reserves the right to interrupt the operation of the site, or any portion of the site, as necessary to perform routine or non-routine maintenance, error correction, or other changes.


U-tec reserves the right to suspend or cancel your access to the site and/or block future access to the site. U-tec will give you as much notice as is commercially reasonable in the circumstances if you do not comply with these Terms of Use, other agreements, or policies which may be associated with your use of the site. U-tec can cancel or suspend your account if their actions cause U-tec to violate any agreement or policy needed to run the site. Your account can be canceled if U-tec is required to do so by any court, law enforcement agency, or government authority in any country. Suspension of the site or service may occur if the site is discontinued or materially modified, for any reason, or if unexpected technical issues or problems affecting the operation of the services or site occur, or if U-tec must investigate suspected misconduct. In the event of any of the above mentioned circumstances, U-tec may, upon giving you written notice of cancellation of your access to the Site or Service, deactivate or delete your account. U-tec will not be liable to the customer or to any third party for any suspension or cancellation of the customer’s access to the site or service, or the deactivation or deletion of the account.



Except where prohibited by law, in no event will U-tec be held liable to you for any indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental or punitive damages, including lost profits, even if U-tec has been advised of the possibility of such damages.


If, notwithstanding the other provisions of these Terms of Use, U-tec is found to be liable to you for any damage or loss which arises out of or is in any way connected with your use of the Site or any Content, Apple’s liability shall in no event exceed the greater of (1) the total of any subscription or similar fees with respect to any service or feature of or on the Site paid in the six months prior to the date of the initial claim made against Apple (but not including the purchase price for any Apple hardware or software products or any AppleCare or similar support program), or (2) US$100.00. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations of liability, so the foregoing limitation may not apply to you. Need to decide what to do with the liability amount



You agree to indemnify and hold U-tec, its employees, directors, and affiliates, harmless from any demands, loss, liability, claims or expenses, including legal fees, made against U-tec by any third party due to or arising out of or in connection with your use of the site.

The site includes links to websites operated by third parties. While on third party websites, your activities are governed by the terms of use and privacy policies of those sites. U-tec is not responsible for the terms of use, privacy practices or the content of those sites. It is recommended that you to carefully read the terms of use and privacy policies of any website you visit.


Violation of These Terms of Use

U-tec may disclose any information we have about you, including your identity, if we determine that such disclosure is necessary in connection with any investigation or complaint regarding your use of the site, or to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference with, either intentionally or unintentionally, U-tec’s rights or property, or the rights or property of visitors to or users of the site, including U-tec’s customers. U-tec reserves the right at all times to disclose any information that U-tec deems necessary to comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request. U-tec also may disclose your information when U-tec determines that applicable law requires or permits such disclosure, including exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection purposes.


You agree that U-tec may, in its sole discretion and without prior notice, terminate your access to the site and/or block your future access to the site if we determine that you have violated these Terms of Use or other agreements or guidelines which may be associated with your use of the site.

You agree that U-tec, in its sole discretion and without prior notice, may terminate your access to the site, at the requests of law enforcement or other government agencies, or a request by you, such as a self-initiated account deletion. In the event of a discontinuance or material modification of the site or any service offered on or through the site, U-tec may terminate or block your access to the site. Your access to the site may be restricted in the event the site experiences unexpected technical issues or problems.


If U-tec does take any legal action against you as a result of your violation of these Terms of Use, U-tec will be entitled to recover from you, and you agree to pay, all reasonable legal fees and costs of such action, in addition to any other relief granted to U-tec. You agree that U-tec will not be liable to you or to any third party for termination of your access to the site as a result of any violation of these Terms of Use.
